Inside mount blinds and shades are mounted inside the window frame. This option provides a clean, custom look and is considered the most popular choice. This is a great option if you do not wish to cover the window moldings.
Outside mounted blinds and shades are mounted outside the window, on your wall or molding. This option can make a window appear larger. It is also a solution if the window does not meet the depth requirement for an inside mount.
Wand Draw Control uses a slender, durable wand to open and close the blinds while also rotating the louvers. Available on the right or left side, the 33" wand provides easy cordless operation for added child safety.
Vertical blind wands come in various lengths to suit different window and door heights. A shorter wand works well for small windows where easy reach is needed, while longer wands are ideal for tall windows or sliding glass doors, allowing smooth control without straining.
Ceiling brackets are required for inside mount installations, as the blind will be mounted to the inside top of the window casing. For outside mount blinds, choose ceiling brackets only when the blind will actually be attached to the ceiling.
Wall mount brackets are for outside mount installations only and attach to the wall over the window or door (most common).

Approximate Inside Mount Deduction: 1/4"
For inside mount applications, the manufacturer will take an approximate 1/4" deduction so the blind fits properly inside the window or door opening and operates correctly.
OUTSIDE MOUNT DEDUCTION
For outside mount applications, the manufacturer does not make deductions. The blind will be made to the ordered size.
